At Kilcoy Global Foods, we’re conscious of the impact agriculture has on the environment. It’s what has driven us to become carbon neutral certified at our Kilcoy, Kyneton, and Birtinya facilities. We’ll continue to look for ways to reduce the impacts of our facilities, products and operations on the environment.
Innovation is just as important in our approach to the environment as it is with our food. We lean on the latest ideas and technology to work for a better tomorrow, today.
Working for a Better Tomorrow, Today
Kilcoy Global Foods Australia is a Certified Carbon Neutral Organization
Kilcoy Global Foods’ commitment to sustainability is paramount. We know the decisions we make today will impact generations to come.
Which is why we pursued Climate Active’s carbon neutral certification, one of the most rigorous accreditations in the world. Kilcoy Global Foods is proud to be certified carbon neutral at our Kilcoy and Kyneton facilities, and Birtinya head office.
For us, world-class environmental performance is not only the right thing to do but is essential to our long-term success.

Circular Land Management
Circular Land Management
We reuse 100% of our wastewater on-site. After being treated through our Covered Anaerobic Lagoons, it is supplied back to the plant for non-potable uses and irrigating our 1,000 acres of surrounding farmland. Our farm produces more than 4,000 tonnes of quality hay per year, which is shared with local producers.

Our comprehensive processing facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and diverse range of markets allow us to achieve 100% carcass utilisation, meaning nothing goes to waste. We are also on track to achieve zero waste to landfill with our facility currently at highest diversion with further initiatives underway.
