Kilcoy Global Foods is thrilled to announce a standout performance in the 2024 beef awards season, with a total of ten medals earned across various prestigious competitions.
Carrara Wagyu has once again demonstrated its excellence in the premium beef sector. At the Wagyu Branded Beef Competition, Carrara Wagyu secured both Gold and Bronze medals. The judges were particularly impressed, describing the beef as “a succulent, vibrant burst of beefy umami, melting into nutty aromas.” The success continued at the Royal Food and Wine Show Queensland, where Carrara Wagyu clinched Gold with an impressive score of 93.6 in Class 3, and a Bronze medal in Class 4. The winning streak was upheld at the Sydney Royal Show with another Gold medal in Class 5, reinforcing Carrara Wagyu’s reputation as a leader in the premium beef market.
Ebony Black Angus also enjoyed notable success, capturing three Bronze medals at the Royal Food and Wine Show Queensland in Class 1 and Class 5, and at the Sydney Royal Show in Class 4.
Not to be outdone, Jade Pure Wagyu earned Gold in the prestigious Fullblood Wagyu category. Judges praised its “full-bodied beefy flavour with lasting buttery tones.” Additionally, Kilcoy Black Diamond achieved a Bronze medal at the Sydney Royal Show in Class 4.
These achievements highlight the exceptional quality and diverse offerings of Kilcoy Global Foods' brands.
