In the US, Ruprecht opened it's doors in Chicago as one of the original meat suppliers in the community. They would later merge with Kilcoy Global Foods and Ruprecht will become our trusted consumer brand of delicious Sous-Vide products.

Kilcoy Pastoral Company (KPC) is established by the Kennedy family in Kilcoy, Queensland to supply beef to local butchers.

By 1965, KPC evolved into a major market player with a reputation for innovation. It leads several industry breakthroughs including the first consignment of chilled beef to Japan.

KPC shifts focus to become one of the world’s major meat producers of high-end grain-fed beef.

Hosen Capital acquires KPC and begins the journey to become Kilcoy Global Foods.

Hosen Capital purchases Ruprecht Company in the US. Established in 1860, Ruprecht Company is Chicago’s oldest operating meat processor and a leading manufacturer of Sous Vide proteins.

Hosen Capital purchases Weidao Foods in China. With Ruprecht and KPC, these businesses become known as Kilcoy Global Foods (KGF).

The Jade Pure Wagyu brand is introduced as an exclusive pure-bred program with full lifecycle traceability.
KGF acquires Hardwicks in Kyneton, broadening the group’s capabilities from grain-fed beef to include high quality grass-fed beef and smallstock categories: lamb, hogget, mutton and goat. Established in 1973, Hardwicks is one of Victoria’s major meat processing plants.

KGF acquires Lance Creek, a processing facility situated in some of the most productive beef farming country in South Gippsland, Victoria. The facility undergoes significant upgrades to meet KGF standards of excellence.
Kilcoy Butchery is purchased and refurbished to give back to the local community and surrounding areas. Established in 1953, the butchery has built a great legacy for quality produce over the years.

Kilcoy Global Foods is officially certified as a carbon neutral organization by Climate Active for its Australian business operations at its Kilcoy facility and Birtinya corporate office.
KGF Bells Creek is completed: a state-of-the-art value-add manufacturing facility with capabilities in multi-protein, raw and cooked food solutions for both domestic and export customers.
