In the US, Ruprecht opened it's doors in Chicago as one of the original meat suppliers in the community. They would later merge with Kilcoy Global Foods and Ruprecht will become our trusted consumer brand of delicious Sous-Vide products.
1953
Kilcoy Pastoral Company (KPC) is established by the Kennedy family in Kilcoy, Queensland to supply beef to local butchers.
2013
Hosen Capital acquires KPC and begins the journey to become Kilcoy Global Foods.
2014
Hosen Capital purchases Ruprecht Company in the US. Established in 1860, Ruprecht Company is Chicago’s oldest operating meat processor and a leading manufacturer of Sous Vide proteins.
2015
Hosen Capital purchases Weidao Foods in China. With Ruprecht and KPC, these businesses become known as Kilcoy Global Foods (KGF).

In 2017, KGF expands its capability with a $120M+ plant upgrade at Kilcoy now recognised globally as a state-of-the-art processing facility.
In 2018, the grain-fed team develops a portfolio of brands that reflect a growing offering of premium grain-fed beef to diverse global markets.

In 2019, KGF acquires meal solutions business Greenswift China, expanding its reach and capability.

2021
The Jade Pure Wagyu brand is introduced as an exclusive pure-bred program with full lifecycle traceability.
KGF acquires Hardwicks in Kyneton, broadening the group’s capabilities from grain-fed beef to include high quality grass-fed beef and smallstock categories: lamb, hogget, mutton and goat. Established in 1973, Hardwicks is one of Victoria’s major meat processing plants.
2022
KGF acquires Lance Creek, a processing facility situated in some of the most productive beef farming country in South Gippsland, Victoria. The facility undergoes significant upgrades to meet KGF standards of excellence.
Kilcoy Butchery is purchased and refurbished to give back to the local community and surrounding areas. Established in 1953, the butchery has built a great legacy for quality produce over the years.

Kilcoy Nutrition launches, offering a range of premium beef organ food supplements for human and animal health.
Kilcoy Global Foods is officially certified as a carbon neutral organization by Climate Active for its Australian business operations at its Kilcoy facility and Birtinya corporate office.
KGF Bells Creek is completed: a state-of-the-art value-add manufacturing facility with capabilities in multi-protein, raw and cooked food solutions for both domestic and export customers.
2024
Kilcoy North America scheduled to complete a multi-million dollar investment in the suburban Chicago facility to increase throughput, install new capabilities, and launch The Hub: an exciting collaborative space we will share with our customers to drive innovation and partnership.
